What will happen during your initial examination?

After making an appointment for their initial examination, the patient will see Dr. Maja Jagodić-Štimac to be examined. If an orthopantomogram is required for the initial examination, it can be made at our clinic and given to the patient to take home after the examination. It helps Dr. Maja Jagodić-Štimac assess the condition of the patient’s teeth.

After a thorough examination and diagnosis, the patient receives a detailed treatment schedule and a recommendation as to which treatments would be appropriate for the present condition of their teeth. After being examined, the patient will also be informed of the price.

What kind of warranty does Štimac Center offer? What does it include?

Many patients ask about the price of our warranty and what it actually implies. The warranty offered by Štimac Center is equal for all our patients and covers our prostheses (crowns, bridges and veneers) and implants.

We offer lifetime warranty for our implants (the titanium section implanted in the bone) and 5-year warranty for our prostheses, the latter covering broken porcelain, veneers and crowns.

It is important to note that regular examinations are a key factor vis-à-vis the warranty. Each patient must have their teeth checked at least once a year, even after a minor dental procedure, to prevent any issues on time and protect their dental health.

How do we maintain good relationships with our patients?

Each treatment is performed step by step to keep the patient aware of each part of the treatment and be able to control their oral health in cooperation with their doctor.

To demonstrate that the patient comes first, we have retained the services of Mirta Fraisman Čobanov, a psychotherapist, and Luka Škrinjarić, M.Psy., who explain human psychology as part of the “Fear-Free Clinics” and thus facilitate interactions between doctors and patients. The topic of this workshop was how to reduce fear in patients, but also how to learn self-management – we have thus assembled a team that includes dentists, dental staff, a psychologist and a psychotherapist. Building confidence and reducing fear in patients are merely some of the values instilled in our entire staff by these experts.
